Survey Results

How will I collect my Data

I will collect it by making a survey and asking people to partake in it. I will also interview people.

Subjects in my research

The subjects in my research will be family friends ad people who go to my school. I will try to add as many people as possible to my research. 25 people will be taking part in my survey. But their may be a couple of interviews.

Secondary research

It seems to me that people believe that because you speak a certain language you will act or be the same as the other people speaking the same language as you. This is very judge mental and rude. Just because somebody speaks a certain language doesn't mean they will all act the same. It is very racist at the same time too. You could make raise somebody to speak speak a language but it still won't have any affect on their personality. People are born with it. The language you speak will not change you, or make you who you are today.

My Research Plan

I will ask people questions which are linked to my question. I will also look it up on the internet, or look it up in books. I hope to find answers to my questions. People who might be able to give me more language beliefs then what I already have. I will survey people in my school, my parents, teachers, my friends and my family.

My Research Questions

I want to know how many people are aware of the different languages in the english language. And what words they believe or know are related to the german language.

My Reasearch Goals

My research goals are to find out how many people are aware of their language. Especially the english language, it is made up of so many different languages and some of it is german. I want to know how many people use it how many people know about it. Or how many people are even aware of it. Because I hear some people use certain words sometimes which I know or can relate to the german language. And it just doesn't seem like they are aware of it or know.

My Language Beliefs

I think language is only here to communicate, people take it to serious. Because we all have the same basic reasoning of words, it's just in a different language. It's always been in the back of my head. It's probably one of those things that your born with to be in the back your head. My observations of our class discussions are; There is no normal way type of way to speak there's just some way that makes you more comfortable then others. People tend to call the way they speak the normal way of speaking. But people can't possibly judge others by the way they speak. Becaus to every different person there is a certain way they speak which might seem weird to you, but not to others.
